Loyson Corda

Loyson Corda is a versatile musician, guitarist, vocalist, and composer with a strong foundation in both Western and Indian classical music. His musical journey has been shaped by years of dedicated learning, live performance, studio work, and original composition.

He was honored with the title “Voice of Udupi”, a recognition that reflects his expressive vocal ability and deep musical sensibility. Trained in Western music, Loyson has completed Grade 8 in Electric Guitar from the Rockschool of Music, showcasing technical proficiency and performance excellence on the instrument.

To strengthen his understanding of music theory and pedagogy, he pursued a Music Method Course at Nathaniel School of Music, Bangalore, gaining structured knowledge in teaching, arrangement, and musical interpretation.

As a session guitarist, Loyson has had the opportunity to record guitar tracks for renowned artists such as Usha Uthup, Neha Kakkar, and other notable musicians, contributing to professional studio projects across genres.

Rooted deeply in Indian classical tradition, he recently completed a Diploma in Hindustani Vocal Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, further enriching his musical expression and compositional depth.

Loyson is also an independent composer and songwriter, with original works including “Tuje Vinhe,” “Hazar Abolim,” “Suryo Udetaa,” and “Tunch Moga.” His music blends contemporary sounds with classical influences, reflecting stories, emotions, and cultural roots.

With experience spanning performance, teaching, recording, and composition, Loyson Corda continues to explore music as a lifelong journey—creating, collaborating, and connecting through sound.
